“A father may turn his back on his child, brothers and sisters may become inveterate enemies, husbands may desert their wives, wives their husbands. But a mother’s love endures through all” ~Washington Irving
First things first, I needed to get dressed. The weather here in California is never certain anymore. I wasn’t sure what to wear and what to bring just in case a dark cloud decided to follow me.
My details:
Maxi dress by FOREVER21
Skinny black braided belt by FOREVER21
Gladiator sandals by Kennith Cole Reaction
Anchor Bracelet by Betsey Johnson (not seen in the first few pictures)
Please excuse my pig pen, I always seem to make a huge mess when I get dressed hehe.

My Second mothers day
Jude has been in my life for almost 2 years (this August) and its been a blessing. I am so lucky to have been raised by such a strong woman. My mom was a single parent who raised 4 children on her own. Every holiday, including Fathers Day, we praised my mother. I was so scared when I found out that I was pregnant because I didn’t want the possibility of raising Jude alone. Now that it is a reality, I know that I have the ability of doing what my mom did. I know I am far from perfect…but I am doing and going to continue to do what I can and what is best for my son. I thank God every day for everything that I have, and for the ability to provide for my son on my own. Making a baby is easy…being a parent and actually raising a child is a whole other ball game. I am proud to say that I am a mother, and today is my day.
Alright Sonia, relax! Lol…*turns off the serious music*. Mothers Day we always get together and hang out. I made sure to bring some bubbles to keep the kids entertained for a while so us “big kids” could sit and enjoy each others company.
