No more excuses! : New Lighting

Brighter days…

My biggest problem before Jude had a steady sleep schedule was lighting. I filmed a lot of videos mid day (around noon) and / night. At night the lighting was terrible because the lights in the kitchen were yellow. I went to Lowes hardware store to pick up fly killer stuff, and walked out with VERY affordable lighting.

(Just my over head light, no panels on)

As you can tell…it makes a huge difference! The lighting will be great for filming night time makeup tutorials / hauls / vlogs. Pretty excited about it.

The specs:

UtiliTech 18in./46cm Fluorescent Under Cabinet Light -$10 each

I think they look pretty good on the inner parts of my windows. I usually use this window for natural lighting, so it works out great.

I did buy different light bulb/tube because the one it came with a yellow tinted light. I replaced it with a cool white fluorescent F15 light. Make sure they are compatible in size. I asked for help. To save yourself a trip…ask for help! I had to go back.

I was so happy about this new addition I had to share it with you all!

I hope this helped anyone that needed new lighting on a budget 😉

This post was most definitely one of the least interesting ones, and I am allowed to have that opinion. I am not a Sonia hater, I actually find her makeup/beauty posts and the occasional life posts to be interesting… But that's why I come here, to read those kinds of posts, not about hooking up some lights. For those few of you who actually did like it, that's great but I bet not even a third will actually go out and buy these lights. Just sayin'!

I love it when a girl has good lighting! Good for you and aren't those lights the bomb?! 🙂 @oooookay Yeah we do and yes it was so get over it and stop assuming so much.
