Blame it on the sales

I have a mix of things I wanted to share with you all. I went to Walmart because I was bored to death and needed an excuse to get out. Then my younger sister invited me to go to the mall for a sale at JC Penny’s. I bought Jude a bunch of clothing but I was given a 20% off that worked for Sephora! I was excited about that and being a Beauty Insider, Sephora sent me a giftcard worth $20 so I was set! Now enough with the mumbo jumbo…

While I was looking thru all of the deals in Sephora, a girl walked by me and she smelt so pretty I had to ask (like a weirdo…cause that’s how she looked at me) what she was wearing and she said it was LOLA by MARC JACOBS. I am pretty picky with perfume so I decided to get the roll on and give it a try.

Ive been hooked on my liquid foundations but I wanted to give powder another shot.
LORAC EVENING OUT COMPELXION KIT caught my eye.

Check out the packaging!

It comes with powder (there are 4 shades to pick from) 2 concealers, powder puff and a concealer brush. I cant wait to try this out and let you all know how I love/hate it.
I could not leave without getting the newest URBAN DECAY BOOK OF SHADOWS.
Kris bought me the first volume back in Virgina and I have been hooked ever since. I didn’t get the Alice in Wonderland pallet I was too late :[

These palettes always have the coolest pop outs! This one is inspired by NYC.

The shadows are highly pigmented and are super soft. The bad thing about these palettes is that they repeat a few shadows. I hate that. I want to get a new everything! I thought I was going to get SIN Primer Potion. Wishful Thinking haha.

Now to the drugstore stuff:

I bought all of the following products at Walmart.
These colorful lipsticks are all by Revlon.
“PRIM-ROSE” (Creme), “WINK FOR PINK” (Pearl), “STRAWBERRY SUEDE” (Matte), and “FABULOUS FIG” (Matte).

I have a new video using the darkest lipstick if you are interested. CLICK HERE

My new obsession line: HARDCANDY. I love this line, its only available at WALMART and they are all under $10 each. I didn’t have time to swatch the nail polishes but they are true colors.

GLOW ALL THE WAY: Glamazon Bronzer (Gold tube)
This bronzer is amazing and makes my face glow.
Tinted Moisturizer in TAN

A little on the watery side and is perfect for quick fresh makeup application when you are in a rush!
HIDE & GLOW CHEEK: Pillow Talk
Soft flirty pink stains.

I am so happy with all of my new additions and I cant wait to turn some of these into videos for all of you!

Do you have any of these products? What do you think?

Hard Candy used to be sold at Dillards and other high end department name stores. I think they went bankrupt or something back in the earyl 2000s. I'm 26, so I remember when I was in middle school and the rage was pastel colored nails, Hard Candy was the only brand that made those colors at the time, but it was like 12 bucks for a nailpolish and it came with the little ring too.

If you like Hard Candy one of my fav products is their blush in #125 “living doll”. It is the best flush of pink on your cheeks!

your video on the hard candy bronzer makes it look nicer than it does swatched on your hand here, it looks a little dry but I'm going to give it a try anyways! Also you can still get the Alice in Wonderland palette, you just have to get it through eBay.. luckily my boyfriend bought me one 🙂 the longer you wait the more expensive they'll get! pleeease do a review on the hard candy tinted moisturizer. I've been spoiled by Mac but it's kind of expensive and I'm looking for a good tinted moisturizer to take it's place!

I really like the Hard Candy stuff! My favorite thing is the baked blush in Pin up. Those lip sticks you got are so pretty, I am going to try and find that matte red one. Thanks for sharing girl =)

I remember when I was in middle school (I'll be 27 at the end of January) and Hard Candy nail colors being a big deal and seeing the ads in Seventeen magazine. I'd really like to try that cheek stick. I haven't ever really worn blushes, but I've been really interested in experimenting with them lately.
